🌟 This Saturday: How to Make Great Images with Scott Cameron

Scott Cameron is one of those rare artists who can take an idea and turn it into something unforgettable. As a Disney background painter, Scott has worked on projects where every image matters. In this class, he’ll share his approach to making visuals that truly tell a story—touching on composition, lighting, and the little details that bring an image to life.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, this is your chance to learn from someone who’s been in the heart of the action.

✏️ Next Week: Visual Storytelling for Comics with Greg Beettam

🗓 Tuesday, Dec 10th | ⏰ 2 PM - 4 PM EST
Greg Beettam has spent more than 20 years weaving stories through comics. In this masterclass, he’ll walk you through the fundamentals of crafting a comic story, from building structure to translating it onto the page. Together, you’ll come up with a 3-page story, and Greg will show you how a comic artist brings it to life, step by step.

It’s not just about technique—it’s about understanding how to take the ideas in your head and put them into a format that connects with people.

🎨 Dec 14th: Virtual Open House + Free Figure Drawing Workshop

This is more than just an open house—it’s an invitation to step into our world. You’ll get to meet some of the incredible people behind MTM College, learn about our programs, and experience what makes us so passionate about what we do.

To top it off, Marvel & DC artist Dave Ross will lead a free figure drawing workshop. Dave’s been teaching anatomy and figure drawing for years, and his classes are always eye-opening. If you’ve ever wondered how comic artists achieve those dynamic, larger-than-life poses, this is your chance to see it in action.

At MTM, we believe art education is about more than just learning skills—it’s about building a community, exploring your potential, and discovering new ways to tell your story. Our small class sizes, passionate instructors, and unique approach (we even have an anatomy lab!) are all designed to help you grow as an artist.
