💜 What Our Workshop Students are Saying
“Hi, My name is Tatiana. I am from Brazil. I am doing my second workshop at [MTM College] and I am loving it. The classes are very clear. The instructors are extra qualified and they give us a lot of attention. Classes are well prepared. It is much better than any other art class or school I have ever enrolled in.”
“This was an incredible 6 weeks, all the effort and work I put in was given back by the instructors. The small class size meant a lot of one on one support and our individual interests were able to be focused on. I’m looking forward to moving forward with my education at [MTM College], the Portfolio Intensive has given me confidence in their ability to teach online as well as giving me a solid foundation to move forward with.”
“Online learning has become such an amazing opportunity for students with disabilities. After lifetimes of being told: no it’s impossible… We are finally able to pursue careers that otherwise were inaccessible because of in-person education requirements. Animation and illustration work can be performed remotely, so it is the perfect income opportunity for someone with a disability like mine. Had online learning been an option in the past, my career could have started 10 years ago. They say the best time to plant a tree is 40 years ago, and the next best time is right now. I would be willing to invest in additional equipment and I think many other remote students with disabilities would be willing to do so as well.
Remote learning has proven to be an amazing opportunity to access education that is important to me.
Secondly, You really should know that your online class delivery is truly exceptional. Critiques of online learning in-general don’t really apply to you in the same way they do to other institutions. I’ve taken many many online classes in the last 2 years, and I’m consistently surprised at the value [MTM College] brings to the digital experience. Competitors haven’t put in anywhere near what your teachers bring... Clearly a concerted effort was made to make the digital experience as good as possible, and the training worked. It’s a very engaging and sociable experience, and moment to moment each class is packed with learning opportunities and momentum-building. I can’t say the same about any in-person art class that I’ve taken in the past 15 years of being an avid student of art.”
