Now, a bit more about our new foundations program, why we offer classes the way we do, and what this program is offering the next generation of artists.

A lot of artists think they’re stuck because they’re not practicing enough. In reality, most people are practicing. They’re doing the drawings, putting in the time, trying again and again.

The difference is refinement.

Think of it like working out. You can go to the gym on your own and slowly improve. But if you have a personal trainer showing you exactly where your form is off, what to adjust, and how to fix it, your progress speeds up in a huge way. Same effort, completely different results. Art works the same way.

Every drawing is a rep. The rough ones matter. The ones that don’t quite land matter even more. But if you don’t know what you’re correcting, you end up stuck in that loop of “this looks wrong” without knowing why.

Our programs is where this changes. Instead of guessing, you’re shown clearly where to adjust. The structure isn’t holding, the proportions are wonky, the composition isn’t working, the colour needs to shift. Once you can see it, you can fix it.
